On Sunday, 11 Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to 6 July 2025 CE, Shaykh AbdulKarim Yahya, founder of Dar Al-Rahma in Detroit, Michigan, visited the premises of Sanad Academy, including the academy offices and studio. During the visit, a meeting was held to discuss several important topics related to the development of educational and da‘wah programs. Key points included:
Proposed courses for Western communities were discussed, and Shaykh AbdulKarim suggested offering a course specifically designed for new converts to Islam, to be taught by Shaykh Amjad Tarsin, beginning with the well-known Hadith of Jibreel.
Shaykh AbdulKarim emphasized the importance of communication with Shaykh Ibrahim Ousiefa to benefit from surrounding scholars and recommended utilizing the skilled students at Dar al-Mustafa.
The idea of offering live, specialized courses for women via Zoom was also discussed, with the teaching to be conducted by qualified female instructors.
